Book recommendations:

There are many excellent books that tackle this tremendously important subject. In particular, I recommend:

• Andrew Moody In Light of the Son; seeing everything through the Father’s love for the Son (Matthias Media, 2015).
• Craig Hamilton Made Man; why God becoming human is so shocking, so necessary and so life changing (Matthias Media, 2019)

You’ll notice that both these books are recent and Australian. Recent and local are not the most important considerations. Being biblically faithful is a much higher priority – and both of these books are certainly this! But having been recently published with an Australian audience in mind they consider a number of issues that are relevant to our context and are both written in an easy to read style. In Light of the Son is the shorter and less technical of the two, while Made Man takes us deeper into debates of church history and theology while still maintaining a relaxed tone.
