G’day church,
News hot off the press: we’ve locked in the details for our next Taste and See course: Monday September 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 7pm in the Mawson Hall at the Holdfast Bay Community Centre. We’re waiting for they flyers to come back from the printer, but you can start using the digital invites on our website, Facebook and Instagram. I know a lot of people in our church already have friends and neighbours they want to invite – let’s be praying for great gospel conversations, thanking God for the wonderful joy of making Jesus known together.
It is such a privilege to be a part of God’s wonderful mission to glorify Jesus! We get to do it each Sunday as we gather and we get to do it throughout the week as we work and serve and speak of him and love people well. This Sunday we jump back into the book of Romans to grapple with the reality that so many people don’t yet know Jesus, while resting in the great assurance of God’s sovereign grace. Take 5 minutes to read Romans 8 ahead of Sunday morning to prepare our hearts and minds. We’ll also hear from a great friend of Trinity Church Brighton as Craig Broman from Engage Work Faith visits with us to encourage us in seeing the tremendous opportunities to glorify God in our workplaces.
