Our Church | Today we’re asking God to grow us in Christian Maturity, which is another way of asking him to make us more like Jesus, which is another way of asking him to grow the fruit of the Spirit in us. It’s his work of planting his word deep in our hearts and doing is miraculous work of spiritual transformation in our lives.
Our Networks | This week we’re thanking God for the great work of Bible College South Australia and asking him to strengthen, sustain and protect them for the next season of their vital ministry in our city. Pray for the current student body to grow in their love of Jesus as they grow in their knowledge of his word. Pray for faculty to teach with intellectual rigour, biblical faithfulness and pastoral sensitivity. Pray for Tim Patrick and the Board to exercise integrity and excellence in leadership.
Our World | As Jesus taught us, let’s ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers for his harvest field (Matt 9:38). And let’s be bold, asking that he’d raise them up from within our midst!
