Our Church | We pray for those who serve our church as welcomers. We thank God for their thoughtfulness and efforts in trying to ensure anyone who comes to visit our church feels cared for. Help us to be a church where all of us have a concern to care for those who might chose to visit us. Pray that many would come to visit us and that they would be able to engage with Jesus for themselves.
Our Network | We pray for our network at a time of change, a time where we are seeking to start three new churches. We pray this morning for Trinity Church Mile End, launching today. May the launch be a great occasion, and may many in the Mile End area come to know Jesus through the ministry of the church. We pray too for Trinity Church Unley and give thanks for Karl and his teaching today.
Our World | We pray for peace in our world. We pray for Ukraine, we pray for rapid de-escalation. We pray for protection for lives, for aid to help those who are displaced or suffer injuries. We pray for wisdom for political leaders involved in tense negotiations and we pray for humility for those who seek aggression. May the Gospel message of peace be working in the hearts of people in these countries affected by war and violence and lead to real change.
