Dear Friends,
As we get into February we’ve got a bunch of new things, ministries starting up, and changes happening around our church. To mark some of this we’re calling February our ‘Launch Month’. Each week in February at church we’ll be marking some of these changes and particularly praying about things as the ministry year gets underway.
To give you a bit of a taste, this week we’ll be marking the start of Jane Finlayson’s time as paid member of our staff team. We’ll hear from her and pray for her, and we’ll also be praying and commissioning all our leaders of our various ministries as lots of things begin to get underway.
Over the rest of the month we’ll be doing things like farewelling those from our community who are heading off to Tonsley (a new church launching – exciting!), hearing from Lauren Hull as we begin a more formal partnership with her and the ministry at Flinders ES, and to top it all off we’re planning to get together for a beach picnic on February 27th as the month comes to a close.
We’re also starting our new series this Sunday looking at the Easter week.
