PAUL HARRINGTON
TRINITY NETWORK SENIOR PASTOR
Dear brothers and sisters in Trinity Churches,
I am sending you an attached letter that updates you on our plans and thinking for the Trinity Churches as our nation and world copes with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The letter was written yesterday and outlines the decision of the leadership of the Trinity Network to stop our main Sunday meetings until further notice. As it turns out, given the government’s announcement this morning that indoor meetings of over 100 people should no longer occur, this decision has already been superseded.
In these times I want to encourage us all to consider how we draw near to God, stir one another up in love and care for those around us.
Your church leadership will let you know how we will continue to connect and care for each other during a time when we can no longer gather physically at our Sunday meetings.
Know that Sue and I and all the leaders of the Trinity Network are praying for you. The prayer at the end of Ephesians 1 is a wonderful way for us to all keep calling on God.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power in us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength which he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority and dominion, and every name that is invoked, Not only in the present age but also in the age to come.
Ephesians 1:18-21
In these times may you know the comfort, care, resurrection power and hope that we have in the Lord Jesus.
Your brother in Christ,
Paul
