Our Church | We pray for our staff team this morning. Give thanks for Simon’s first few weeks among us and pray for him as he continues to settle in. Pray too for both the Marshman and Winter families recovering from sickness. Give thanks for Jane’s opportunity to spend this week at the Reach Australia conference in Gosford and pray you help her digest all the great teachings and learnings from it.
Our Network | We pray for Trinity Church Colonel Light Gardens. We thankyou for the way that the community is bonding together having sent out such a large group to the Tonsley plant. We pray as they resume Growth Groups this term that God would use them to grow the church toward maturity.
Our World | We pray in response to yesterday’s election. We pray for those who have been elected and pray that God would grant them wisdom, courage and compassion. Help our leaders to respond to issues of justice those who are more vulnerable in our communities can feel accepted and cared for. We pray too that our politicians would lead us in treating issues like the environment and climate change seriously and we pray for positive change.
