Our Church | We pray today in light of the knowledge that Jesus will one day return. We pray for our friends, colleagues, neighbours and everyone in our community who doesn’t know Jesus. We pray that God would work to ensure people have opportunities to think about Jesus for themselves, and we pray that many would turn to him. Help us to be willing to be used for this task.
Our Partner | We pray for Flinders ES and particularly Lauren Hull. We give thanks to God for a great connections with new students through Connect Camp & O’Week activities. Pray that new students will be eager to grow in faith at Uni, and be equipped to share the gospel. We also give thanks for record numbers of students attending Small group Bible studies on campus, and pray that as they study Mark, they’ll grow in knowledge & love for Jesus, and be challenged to count the cost of following him.
Our World | We thank God for those who serve us in so many ways. For retail and hospitality workers, for paramedics and ambulance officers, for police officers, for our farmers, for our health workers. We particuarly pray for those who’s work has been hardened and complicated by the COVID pandemic. We pray God’s blessing on these people and help us to be grateful for their service to us.
