Our Church | Pray for our staff team. For Matt and Annika – thank God that they’ve been able to have a time of good rest over summer. For Matt – pray for him as he prepares to preach through term 1 from the book of Luke, works to get youth ministry underway for the year, and pray for wisdom in navigating and caring for people amongst COVID challenges. Pray for Jane – for a safe and relaxing weekend away this weekend. Pray for her as she prepares to go back to Bible College this year and help her as she begins to take on some extra responsibilities at church.
Our Network | Pray for Trinity Church Colonel Light Gardens. Pray for them as they prepare to send large numbers to a new church plant at Tonsley. Pray for peace, and trust in God in this time of great change. Pray for good farewells and good encouragement for the staff team and church family. Pray that those who are left at Colonel Light Gardens would see God working through them to reach those in their local area.
Our World | Pray for help with some of the big issues our world is facing. Pray for more to be done to care for our environment and for support for those most affected by climate change. Pray for justice and the lifiting up of those who are stuck in situations of systematic oppression. Pray for hope and for deep change.
